Developed by the french company sicmo more than 50 years ago, the HVLP technology (cf.website hvlp.net), allows to reduce the over spray and the nozius haze and so make more than 40 % economy of the product.

Two air/pressure alimentation technics were conceived thanks to a SICMO creation : with a Transformer of complete air HP-BP (venturi) in the handle :
- 1st technic : food of air/pression per network of traditional compressed air (compressing) with a need for minimum volume of 200l/mn. It is the term H of the models SICMO which announces it. On the other hand, by this method, it is necessary that the air is treated against the usual moisture and elements (oil, dust); without transformer of air HP-BP:
- 2nd technique: food air/pression by turbine (2, 3 or 4 stages) with a need for a volume of 2000 with 3500l/mn. It is the term B of the models SICMO which announces it. This method makes it possible to radically reduce times of application as well as times of drying up to 60% in less (hot air produced by the turbine), compared to the painting application with roller and brush.

These two technics, developed by SICMO, preserve the environment by reducing the lost of particles in the atmosphere (fog).

Principle : technology of pulverization which functions with a great volume of air (High Volume - 2500 l/mn) and a low pressure (Low Pressure - max. 0,7 bar). A part of the air supplies the gun for pulverization and the other part puts the cup under pressure (lower or higher) allowing the pulverization of painting thus.

The main types of SICMO spray guns

The two SICMO spraygun Type :sicmo bond

  • Type H : High pressure - compressor
  • Type B : Low Pressure - turbine

For the two types you can find three kind of product feeding :
- I = Lower cup, for products with low viscosity up to 30 second CF n°4;
- S = Upper Cup, for products with high viscosity, > to 30 seconds CF n°4 and
- R =Tank (pressure pot, transfer pump...), all viscosities.

For each sprayguns, 3 types of fluid adjustment assembly (tubes, switches and head of air) are available:
- St : standard FAA for basic work,
- FAA C for precision work
- FAA multitrous M for body work (meticulous)

Type BS with product supply by cup above and air supply by turbine. Suitable for small or medium surface and products with a viscosity from 15 to 60 seconds,

Type HR-J

Type HR-J same as BI-J or BR-J spray guns but without cup and with an air transformer 1/4 " Gas complete added to the handle. The product supply is made by remote pressure pot or transfer pump. The air supply for the spray gun and the remote pressure or transfer pump is assured by a compressor with a minimum air output of 12 m3/h.

Type BR-J same as BI-J spray gun but without the cup. The product supply is made by remote pressure pot or transfer pump. The air supply of the spray gun is assured by a turbine, while the air supply of the remote pressure pot or transfer pump is assured by a small compressor adjusted to low pressure. Suitable for large surfaces, all applications and finest coating for coachwork, woodwork. Paint flow and paint pressure easily adjustable.
